Lets pretend that the Vikings lost both Hutchinson and McKinnie how well would they be doing...they'd have a great defense but no o-line...now doesn't that sound familiar...a great defense but no o-line...
It doesn't help when the owner is constantly sticking his noise in the coaches business trying to tell him what to do, resulting in massive confidence loss from the coach and the players towards the coach.
It's Mangini hands down.

I'm torn on this poll I honestly don't think Zorn is a bad coach but I don't think he's great either. I see the team just performing terribly the O line doesn't even protect JCampbell guys are muffling punts, it's just a sad team right now who honestly could be a pretty good squad.
PS: John Fox & Fisher DO NOT deserve to be on this list and thats about the worse thing i've heard this year. Fox can't help the fact the owner has a hard on for Jake Delhomme I understand he used to be pretty decent but extending his contract after a shit performance in the playoffs that cost your team?? Where is the thinking process in that, hell I had Carolina reaching the SB last year because of their two RB's Deangelo Williams & Jonathan Stewart. At the end of the day all Jake has to do is manage the game and he can't even do that and now Steve Smith is getting fed up, it's just an all around mess that Delhomme has caused.

The fact that Dick Jauron isn't being mentioned proves how worthless of a coach he is. He is the biggest lame-brained coach, and perhaps the worst game manager, and player manager ever. the worst part is, he's getting a second chance and doing the same exact thing. No one on the offense or defense is developing properly, great players are going to waste, and overall he's perhaps the most worthless coach of the past 10 years. There isn't another answer that even compares to the worthlessness of Dick Jauron

Dick Juaron hands down for the reasons Mike already mentioned. Sorry to piggyback, but I feel the exact same way.
When he took over as headcoach midway through the season for the Lions a few years back, my jaw dropped. Granted, there wasn't much else you could do at the time, but 'lame duck' describes him to a "T". Sometimes I wonder if he really has football knowledge at all. I think he was a poor defensive coach, as well, for the record. He hasn't improved coaching-wise in the slightest in years.

Hmm...can you explain calling 44 pass plays to 25 run plays when you have a top rushing offense against the worst run defense in the league who also rank 10th in the league defending against the pass? Add in the fact that your quarterback is very mistake prone this year and you just have to lol at the playcalling. I'm fairly sure Fox is one with the hard on for Delhomme too, the owner simply never thought that Jake's performance would suffer this badly after the Arizona game after having a good all-round season last year. Shitloads of QBs play like shit in the playoffs and than bounce back next seasons.

Delhomme had put out multiple teasers last year that he was headed downhill and the playoff game should have put him over the top. I don't care what coach it is even if he does want a certain qb to start what the owner thinks is all that matters. Like the Jeff Fisher situation, he wanted Kerry to start this upcoming week but the owner wanted VY to start. At the end of the day what im saying is out of those 25 rushes how many yards did the rb's have? I agree the playcalling has been sad but calling John Fox a bad coach is ludicrous.
