I'm convinced. Yes, he's had problems with his coaching staff specifically in San Francisco and yes he had his issues with Jeff Garcia and then McNabb in Philly. I'm not trying to paint him as a GREAT guy.. but what happened yesterday was a fucking DISGRACE. They were begging him to say something they could run with all week..
After a tough loss..
"Do you like the plays that were called?"
"Do you think you're being wasted in this offense?"
"Do you think the quarterback was making the right decisions?"

These reporters are the scum of the earth. Owens handled them about as well as you could.

That's why the media wants something to put up as news, so they can run their mouths off about it. It's best that T.O. should be left alone in interviews to avoid the media from eating his words up.

If you ask me, T.O. is the one that starts the fire, the media is just the one that adds more gas to it. He handled himself fairly well in the press conference though... Now he just needs to catch balls.

Of course the media is just trying to get another juicy sound-bite out of Owens. He has provided them so often in the past, why wouldn't they expect him to do it? He created the situation and the media is just trying to maintain it.

He's still a complete jackass. I'd call 90% quite an exaggeration, too. Besides, it is the media's job to get comments out of players. Owens doesn't have to give his prickish quotes the way he does. Apparently he handled himself pretty well in that interview, but in the past he could have said all the right things instead of throwing people under the bus and backing over them a couple times.

All I'm seeing on Owens twitter page is some sort of feud between he and Rodney Harrison? Isn't Rodney an analyst now? He's never been known as a classy guy himself..

Maybe if he gets some more balls thrown his way. Trent Edwards has ZERO time in the pocket.
