Of coarse he is denying it. People arrested either admit they did the crime or deny it.

Having watched a couple of episodes of Tequila's show, I wouldn't be surprised if she was drunk. If he choked her though and injured her, he is still guilty of a crime though.

Why did he pick NOW to fuck up? Right before the season starts? Lol. Are you kidding me, Merriman? I REALLY hope she's lying or she was just too intoxicated to comprehend anything that was going on.

Just judging by what I know about Shawne from following the Charges for a good while now, unless Tilas tox screens come back with a gram of coke and insane amounts of boozes in her. I would not doubt for a second that hed choke a women.

It really hurts his case next off season when trying to get a contract, Im sure some team will give him money. But if he did do it, id bet 99% of my lifes savings that its not in San Diego.

I only meant that of coarse he would deny it. I wouldn't expect him to admit to committing a serious act like that.

"During the evening, Ms. Tequila was extremely intoxicated, inebriated and Mr. Merriman did everything he could to assist her in arranging for transportation to leave his home," Todd Macaluso, Merriman's attorney, told NBC 7/39. "At no time did Mr. Merriman assault her; at no time did Mr. Merriman keep her against her will. His intentions were nothing but good."
Tequila's attorney, Scott Leemon, said in a statement that neither Tequila nor her representatives would comment publicly about the incident.

Caldwell said there were other people at Merriman's house at the time of the alleged incident, and some had already been interviewed by detectives as of Sunday afternoon. The investigation is ongoing, and Caldwell said the district attorney's office would decide whether to pursue the case and file formal charges.

"It's up to the district attorney as to whether these charges will stick, or if other charges apply, or if any apply," Caldwell

Good for you Shawn, choke that no talent reality show skank. Just hope you didn't any STD's by having your hands around her neck. This is the only case where your going to hear Tila Tequila during a Sportscenter broadcast.
