Re: NFL 2009 Week 1 Preview and Discussion Thread.
The Patriots game was a blast and there was a moment on the final play where I thought Buffalo could take the game. Brady looked pretty good, for the most part. Quite a few of his incompletions were on the receivers dropping balls. I'm hoping they can get struck with Braylon Edwards-itis so I don't have to hear about the ESPN anchor's hard-ons with the NFL's goldenboy all season long.

It was a well-played game for both games tonight. I won't forgive the kick returner from the Bills, because he fucked up the Bills' chances to put the game to bed before time runs out, hell no other Bills fan or an Patriot hater would. I will hate the Bills until they move the team somewhere else and change the team name or if they finally win a Super Bowl. At the end, the Bills sucks ass.

You should never like the Bills in the first place doom, that whole organization is shit.
Entertaining as hell back to back on Monday, Although I find it funny that the Raiders are 4-15 because of holding and on a Hail Mary, there right tackle fucking molests English from getting to the QB and its a no call. Thank god for Philip Rivers having ice water for blood.

Shame on McKelvin for not taking a knee as he was getting tackled, or better yet, taking a knee in the end zone when he caught that kickoff. Instead he wanted to be a hero and try to get some more yards (why, I have no clue) and ended up getting the ball ripped out of his hands.
And Stephen Gostkowski of all people recovering the fumble, bravo to him for getting in there and doing something most kickers don't seem to try.
An exciting finish to the Pats/Bills game that had me off my seat and cheering for the final few minutes. Brady came up clutch in the end yet again, after having a "pretty good" night up until that point. The rust will come off, and many of the incompletions were due to dropped passes by the receivers, but I liked what I saw from the Pats last night.
Overall, a fun Week 1 (not so much fantasy-wise...arggh) to watch. Football is back, bitches!!

I attended the Pats/Bills game last night.. I had no rooting interest, but what a game! At 24-13, we're thinking about getting the hell out of there to beat the traffic but good thing we stayed.
With Gillete stadium's parking and exit routes being so awful, I caught most of the Raiders/Bolts on Westwood One, which I'm guessing was a blessing in disguise after I found out Mike & Mike had the tv call.
