There, now Cincinnati fanboy can stop his complaining, though I await his non-credit to a decent Northwestern team. This thread no longer interests me as #2 lacks relevant opinions, and I already know Brandon and ToL
Oh please cut it out, Northwestern is a below average squad. It just shows how Iowa was so overrated and i've been trying to make you realize it but your dick gets so hard at the thought of a Big Ten team being good that it goes in one ear and out the other. If the thread no longer interests you don't come to it. Plain & simple.

For the record, I totally called your entirely-too-generic response. before today(or google for that matter) I doubt you could name a single player on Northwestern, which probably in your mind makes them a 'below-average' squad. Also, I'd delve into how one loss does necessarily mean a team is overrated or underrated, but I realize at this point any attempt to reason or attempt to use logic with you is futile. As long as Cincinnati goes undefeated I'm sure you'll be there to suck them off(If they don't, I'll be amazed with such a soft schedule) Top to Bottom, the Big lEast is probably the most overrated/weak conference out there...
1. Cincinnati The singular 'elite' team in the bunch, but due to inept coaching, and other variables, is much like Boise State.
2. Pittsburgh The 'inept coaching' team out of the top tier. Could definitely be that 'secondary elite team' most conferences have when calling them a power conference, but Wannstedt is too stupid to utilise all of his potential
3. West Virgina With the loss of RichRod and now the departure of Pat White the Mountaineers have fallen from the elite to the 'trying to regain our status' type of team. I think they will eventually make the climb back up and become an elite team, but not this year.
4. USF Probably the best coached team, with the least amount of combined talent. Consistently starts strong, finishes weak, the mediocre-good team
5. Rutgers An anomaly of a team, seemingly when the majority of its starters are developed they're decent, but otherwise they struggle mightily, will have one year of greatness, followed by 3 years of mediocrity.
6. UConn the other candidate for the best coached team with the least amount of talent, sadly the talent gap is beginning to show decent at best.
7. Louisville ugh, wtf is Kragthorpe doing? Much like WVU, but the coach implemented his system with the wrong personnel.
8. Syracuse LOL, started out looking good, because there were no scouting reports on Greg Paulus, now, he's been figured out and their cellar dwelling continues.
8 v 8
Cincinnati vs. Iowa - Push
Penn State vs Pitt - PSU(due to coaching, if Pitt had a decent coach, this is push)
WVU vs Ohio State - Ohio State
USF vs Wisconsin - Wisconsin(but by a hair, with Matt Grothe, once again, most likely a push)
Rutgers vs Northwestern - Northwestern
UConn vs MSU - Michigan State
Louisville vs Purdue - Purdue(easily in this one, probably the easiest decision, Louisville is a mess, and Purdue is inconsistent, but Purdue has the coach to put it together, I don't trust Kragthorpe at this point)
Minnesota vs Syracuse - Minnesota in OT
I'm tired of chasing my dreams. From now on, I'm gonna ask where they're going and just meet them there.

The fact that they are 6-4 makes them a below average team. They beat a bunch of thrown together teams and now they're decent? Please stop the foolishness, all im saying is you had a chance a couple of weeks ago to not even mention Iowa as a top team yet you did because you loved the THOUGHT of them actually being taken serious. I swear you didn't believe anything you were saying because how Iowa could even be thought of as a serious team makes me lol. Their style of play is not going to get them to the top. Had it not been for Indiana LOSING that game to Iowa they'd have to L'S on the record. Cut out the bullshit and pick a new team to root for.
Iowa may have been overrated (which everyone knew not just 'you') but how does that make Cincy's case stronger? They should still be behind at least Bama, Florida, and Texas at this point.. and I'd even argue Boise and TCU over Cincy.

I can see TCU being above UC but Boise? Hell no, and see thats the thing you guys were thinking I was saying UC should be numero uno when I'VE NEVER SAID THAT all I been saying is Iowa is overrated and I been getting shit for that. Hell in one of my previous posts I had UC @ #4 behind TCU.
Boise beat Oregon, who to this point, has been mauling the Pac-10 including USC, who suffered their worst loss to them in the Carrol era just last week.. Now, Oregon is losing to Stanford so far this week, so who knows.. but the point is, you have to look at the body of work and unfortunately for Cincy, they have not played a single opponent that I believe is worth mentioning on a national stage. I don't dislike them.. I just dislike how you've carried on as if they are owed something.
Look.. if Cincy stays unbeaten and they maul through Pitt and West Virginia and a few more teams suffer a loss or so.. who knows where the chips may land. But please, stuff your "cincy is being screwed" stories in a sack.
Edit: Btw, I believe Iowa's ranking to this point was warranted because they won the games even if some of those games were ugly as sin. However, I'd drop them considerably after this week.

I have not been trying to make a case for UC being screwed what i've been saying is it was absolutely ridiculous that Iowa jumped them. Thats all I was/have been saying. It's not like I was saying "ohhh UC has played such a tough schedule they should be #1" I realize their schedule is a weak one, I'd agree 100% if TCU jumped UC THIS WEEK. Now if UC beat Pitt then UC should jump TCU, but what i've been saying is Iowa looked no more impressive than UC has.
It's not so much about being impressive as it is winning games against quality opponents and Iowa had a couple solid wins including a big one against Penn St. But Iowa is probably done now... so can we end this??

Happy to end it! I'm not a fan of having people on my ass.
