That's just bizarre. McNair was never the football player to stir any hatred or controversy. He was one of the nicest people in the NFL. I wonder what led to this violent murder and what drew this woman to what she did and why she took two young lives.

So Mcnair cheated on his wife. Niceeee. Kids at home with a wife, and he's off with some 20 year old.
RIP, but still clearly no hero.
Athletes should not be heroes anyways, if you're over the age of 5. I have favorite athletes, just like the next guy, but I'll never ever refer to them as heroes or role models. I reserve those titles for firefighters, policemen, soldiers, doctors. People who actually make a difference in this world.
People need to stop thinking that because we watch them play hard on TV or they sound intelligent and eloquent in interviews, crack a joke, work with charities.....that we "know" them. Steve McNair fit all those qualities....yet nobody knew he'd been having an affair with a 20 year old.
That's why I will never, ever be surprised at what an athlete or entertainer does when I can't see them on my TV.

Its really stupid to cheat, but almost just as stupid to devalue what he did for his community and the kind of friend he was to team mates because of cheating.
Still one of my favorites, but the moral of the story here is ovbviously don't fuck around.
