How much do you see Gordon getting? I am asking seriously....I don't know a ton about the NBA and the whole mid-level exception bit, but I was under the impression that they could make room for one decent player of that nature if they don't elect to spend it all on Big Baby.
I could be totally wrong though, so do tell if I am.

I think Gordon's gonna get more than the MLE, and the Celts have like nothing in cap room even if they let Big Baby go, and personally, I'd rather have Big Baby than Ben Gordon. Baby's gonna add a lot more to the team than a one-dimensional player like Ben is.

No way is Ben Gordon gonna sign a MLE. If he would, he would have signed with the Bulls last year. He wants to get at least 9 or 10 mil a year, which I doubt he gets with the big free agent/draft class next season. He won't be going to the Celtics, Cleveland, Lakers, or any other team with a huge superstar already. He'll probably end up with the Pistons or another role-playing team.
Signed Ben Gordon/Charlie Villanueva for waaaaaaaaaaay more than they deserve.
So much for what was one of the best GMs in the NBA. You now have Hamilton/Gordon at the two, of which neither is that versatile, and Charlie V and Sheed at the four, of which, Sheed can play the five, but it's not exactly something you wanna take to the bank.

So who's to play the five? Kwame Brown? And why did you draft Austin Daye and sign Charlie V? I dunno, normally when I build a team(even if just on a video game) I try to strengthen my weaknesses... I would've called the Clips by now and inquired at the availability of Camby or Kaman. I honestly don't know what Detroit is trying to do lol.

They'll probably go with a small line-up with Prince at the 4, Rip at the three, and Gordon at the two with Stuckey leading the way at point. Unless they can work out a trade or Kwame Brown suddenly starts playing like Shaq, they're fucked at center.
