Their bench is even worse than Cleveland's though. It's non-existent, really. Overall, Cleveland's a better team, and I don't think he needs to go to New York to have more popularity or anything. He's already arguably the most popular athlete in the country and he did it in Cleveland. I really don't think NBA's ratings and whatnot will improve that much just because New York has a good team. Eh, I dunno. I think he's leaving anyway.
Isn't LeBron already got "Savior" status reviving the Cavs? I see absolutely ZERO reason why he would sign with the friggin Knicks. Nick's reason's were pretty ridiculous if you ask me. He may as well just stay in Cleveland at that point.
Seriously......If LeBron is dead set on staying in the East (as it's rumored), and has an extreme desire to win a championship or two or three....what is the BEST situation for him.
You can name the teams on less than 3 fingers.... I really don't think his ego is so big that he can only be the only star on the team.
Isn't he beloved across America already though? It's not like he isn't friends with all the who's who in every major city in the country. I don't see any city, even NYC, to be worth it alone to go play somewhere.
It's also safe to say that 95% of NBA players don't live in the cities that they play in.
Oh yeah, and he has lived his whole life in Ohio. Perhaps he is a creature of habit as well. I still say he stays with the Cavs, but no doubt he tests the market.
The New Jersey Nets have agreed in principal to send Vince Carter and Ryan Anderson to the Orlando Magic for Rafer Alston, Tony Battie and Courtney Lee, two league executives told Yahoo! Sports.
Hmmm. Honestly, I haven't seen Vince Carter much in the last couple of years, but as a Cavs fan, I'm not worrying TOO much about that since they gave up a great player like Courtney Lee.
