Lebron James - Walking off not talking to anyone. A Bitch Move?

I think whether you win or lose, respect is the number one thing that you must show. Everyone's efforts muster up to incredible games, which took place during that series. With those incredible performances comes incredible admiration.

I think LEBron missed that because he think his chance will never come. He has still got a long career and plenty of options to get a title.

There was no excuse for just walking out. It shows no dignity to a player of his caliber and he is showing a bad example to his fans.

I put not a bitch move because I understand where he is coming from. Going 8-0 for the first two series, you expect you would keep the streak going. Plus, Lebron is the most talented player (imo) and he deserves the championship. He did everything he could to win the series averaging 39 points a game, but his team mates didn't help him. I'd be pissed too.

Not a bitch move, its nice to see someone is actually taking the sport seriously. Basketball is the only sport where the two teams hug before the game starts. The players are supposed to be battling for a prize that only few get to obtain.

That doesn't mean you show decency afterwards. You lost. In a valiant effort none of the less. You're an athelete that picks up from his mistakes, regains himself, and acknowledges the better man. You don't just walk off the court. It shows no respect, it damages reputation, and it defines you as a human being.

To be honest, Lebron was the best man out there. I didnt exactly see Alston or Pietrus rushing over to any Cavs players, within seconds they had on the Eastern Con championship shirts and caps. Does this mean that they made a bitch move too?

Yes. It does. That is just neglectful and pompous of them, and they should no better. I'm not bitching just because LeBron is a huge star.

Well thats your opinion, but I dont think either was a bitch move. The only players who I really saw congradulating eachother were West and Williams, but thats because they are best friends( I believe). There is no need to congradulate anyone after their win. They one team won so they celebrate, the other team lost so they leave to the fans singing them off the court. The idea of having to go hug your opponent and tell them how great they are is as flawed as the tip, in my opinion.

Yeah, it was pretty classless, but I can see where he was coming from. If I had done all that he had done with none of my teammates or coaches even trying to help out and then getting the shit kicked out of me in the last game, I think I'd want to just go back to the hotel and go to sleep too. I would have at least stayed on the court to shake a couple hands, but hey, I cannot even begin to understand how he was feeling on the court at that moment. We better get some help next year or he's gone. Ugh I hate being from North East Ohio.

If it were Dennis Rodman, Terrell Owens or Randy Moss that did the same exact thing somehow guys like SS would be "OMG what a dick move!!!"

Instead LeBron acts like the spoiled baby and people think "Oh he just loves the game"

If you loved (and respected) the game you would congrat the people that just took you down in 6.

Well to be fair, guys like T.O. try to defend & uphold their reputation as "great teammates" while constantly doing stupid things, so if they were to do something like this, yeah I think it's alright for people to criticize them for their stupidity. I think LeBron's emotions just got the best of him. I really don't think I'd be able to face the opponents that had just manhandled me after everything I had done to try and defeat them. May that make me "less honorable?" Maybe, but I really wouldn't care at the moment. I'd just want to hit the showers and get some privacy.
