losing Burnett i thought wouldve been a tough loss for them but they suprised me by doing so well. Their only decent pitchers are Burnett and Ryan

WHAT?!

All right, since you don't follow baseball, I guess I'll just let you be lmao.

It'd be even funnier if you were a fan of a team in that same division.

uh...WHAT?!

Halladay?????? Ricky Romero has been doing great for a rookie to. Hell they even have two good pitchers in Shawn Marcum and Dustin McGowan rehabing injurys to come back hopefully mid way through the season. BJ Ryan is bar none possibly the last person I'd want in a closing situation at the momen, so I wouldn't even make him decent.

I'm not going to say Purcey and Richmond are great but they do there job. Even Jesse Litch is above "Decent"

J.P Riccardi as much as I've hated on him always has at least a good if not great pitching staff on the field.

Re: The MLB 2009 Season Thread

Just to entertain myself, you're saying Burnett(who had one of the worst ERA+ and BB/K ratios, and received the most run support) and the closer were the best pitchers last year on a staff that was rated in the Top 5, and a top 5, if not the best overall bullpen, in terms of ERA+ , LOB%, and GB%.

In terms of losing Burnett, they called up one of their best pitchers from AAA(tragic, isn't it?) whom was projected to hit the majors last year(even more tragic). And he(Ricky Romero) is pitching lights out(as expected, if you've followed baseball at all, apart from your favorite team)

Oh, and you're totally right, Halladay(the runner-up for the Cy Young) is a terrible pitcher.

You're great, got any more gems of wisdom you care to share with us?

I'd say he's well above decent, statistically he had a better year than AJ Burnett last year. But I'd hate to let stats get in the way of this guy Vivas rock solid opinion

That 11-0 Beat-down of Detroit certainly helped calm me down especially after the way Mr. Hughes pitched. Now one more before its on to play the Angles and give out some revenge to the Red Sux and the Rays.
