Bristol Rovers FC

About the BTB:

• I will be starting on the 26/12/11
• This will be a series were I will make up matches with Bristol Rovers which will lead to Promotion/Relegation and all aspects of football.
• I will try and keep it as realistic as I can.

Backstory:

Paul Buckle was appointed Bristol Rovers manager at the start of the 2011/2012 with the belief from the fans and chairman that he would be the best man to lead Bristol Rovers bounce back into League 1. So far it has no gone to plan with Bristol Rovers sitting closer to the Drop Zone than the place they want to be. Surely things can get better.

Gillingham 4-1 Bristol Rovers

Priestfield, Saturday 17th December

Bristol Rovers suffered a shocking defeat away at Gillinghan which will seriously hinder there play off attempts. Rovers were behind already after only eight minutes when Lewis Montrose grabbed a goal for the Gills. It went from bad to worse when Joe Anyinsah brought down Garry Richards and Danny Kedwell scored the resulting penalty to send the Gills 2-0 up. Mustapha Carayol managed to pull a goal back for Rovers to sign a comeback but they were put to bed when Danny Jackman restored the two-goal lead with a crisp drive. A misreable day at the office was confirmed when Cian Bolger saw red for fouling Curtis Weston in the box which lead to Danny Kedwall grabbing his second of the game from the penalty spot.

No this is not done on Football Manager, I'm just picking the results but making them realistic. I'm not going to make them win every game. And good to see your supporting them, Lol.

Got a soft spot for Rovers after I went to the FA Cup quarter final tie where Albion won 5-1.

Ah, There a nice team and that's why I decided to do a BTB on them even though I don't support them.
