Your Football Team! - Signing Up Thread

Hi Guys. I’ve been wanting to set something like this up for a while now. What it is, is a ‘Make your own’ thing with Football. So you create your own Team, with a name, kit, stadium, team, the lot. But the biggest thing is with the teams.

As no one will get injured in this, all you need is 15 players (11 for the team, 5 substitutes). So 1 goalkeeper, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 4 strikers. If enough people sign up (at least 5), then we will have a draft where we go through each person, and they choose anybody in the world for the positions, but a player can’t be drafted two teams.

The Draft
The Draft is very important. Not just because you need to get a team, but because of who you pick. I’ll say now, the stronger the player you pick, the more chance that your team will not lose. For example, if someone has the entire Yeovil back four, and someone else had Messi, Rooney, Ronaldo & Villa, I wouldn’t hesitate in making that about a 7-0 win to Messi’s team. So when the draft comes, pick a good team.

The Matches
I will post the fixtures every week. Then every Saturday, I will post the results. As above, the team with the better players will probably win, so be aware.

The team name can be anything from the Winnipeg Deers to Table United; but you must create your own team name, as well as an Original Stadium. The owner can be anyone, from yourself to Bill Gates.
