In the Fall of 2003, a new poster debuted on Knowyournews.com, "Narc." People were ambivalent, critics harsh. Bouchie, who at the time was the WWF moderator, said the guy was worthless and barren, and Bouchie didn't stop there. He predicted the downfall of the entire forum, calling him "veritable ballyhoo for doomsday."
Bouchie: "His very first posts on the forum weren't about anything, they had no real story to them, they were kind of silly."
But on the fast track to nowhere, Narc suddenly came to life.
Danny Diamond: "His debut got off to a little bit of a rocky start but then got its sea legs, so to speak, and before you knew it, he was a prime-time smash."
The critics ate their words and Narc went on to become one of the best posters on the forum, so much so, that he won a job as the debate moderator in his first month there, a record that still stands today.
Joe Cool: "He was a character everyone could relate to. He just happened to appeal to the masses."
Crocker: "He always held its own, very solid in that time period against very, very hot posters who were there way longer than him. I must admit, I had a little crush on him too"
Narc: "It was an incredible experience to be at the top of such a great forum."
A year after his debut, KYN.com was hotter than ever and thats when Jimmy Van, owner of the forum, decided to go big and launch JimmyVan.com. Danny Diamond, administrator at the time, was on the prowl for moderators to compete with rival forums, and thats when Narc's name once again came up.
Danny Diamond: "Before Narc got there, we were struggling, it was hard to find anything that would work. In fact, we were more known for our failures than for our successes. So Narc was a no brainer and I decided to hire him as the new WWE moderator."
Miakal: "Narc, of course, was one of the most successful moderators on the forum and he was responsible for many hits."
Bouchie: The WWF forum was an immediate hit. Narc was clearly a star and the premise worked really well, and they had great posters too like Hellkat, Blitz, Erin, everything was great. I was a little bitter tho, cause I knew he was doing a way better job than I did when I was in charge."
But less than a year after Narc got the job and made the forum a success, he decided to step down.
Narc: "I thought it would be just wonderful to give someone else a shot a running the WWF forum and I wanted it to do well, it meant a great deal to me."
But the WWF forum started losing posters and so did the all the site. This was a terrible time for JV.com and things got even worse when Danny Diamond stepped down as the Administrator.
Danny Diamond: "When Narc stepped down it really hurt us. He was a fountain of knowledge when it came to wrestling. I knew the site was not going to work without him and I decided to abandon ship before it would sink completely.
...and the site did sink. Even tho new posters like Reverend Rudy, Goofball, and The Farmer emerged, the site was too deep in the hole and eventually shot down.
Tyler Durden: "It was a horrible time, we were all in shock. We went from being the best forum around, to maybe the worst. It happened so fast that it was hard to breath. I think I cried myself to sleep for weeks."
But in the Summer of 2006, Danny Diamond decided to launch a new forum, MonksDiner and once again he decided to recruit Narc as the lead wrestling moderator. Narc once again stepped up to the plate.
Narc: "It was like a new challenge for me. This was a brand new site and it needed to succeed fast if it wanted a chance to last. Danny put a lot of faith in me and I wasnt going to let him down"
The site did succeed and today its one of the biggest forums around.
Danny Diamond: "I owe everything to Narc. He is the main reason why we are where we are. I miss him alot. He was and will forever be, the sexiest beast on the internet."
Rambo: "Fo Sho"
Narc once again stepped down as moderator, but this time the site didnt fail.
Blitz: "I worked with Narc on the WWF forum and when he stepped down I had learned so much from him that it was impossible for me to fail. He was awesome."
Narc eventually left the site all together and dissapeared. Some people thought he had died. Others thought he had just lost his password. But he just decided to take break.
Narc: "I was just burned out. I needed to get away. I still miss all the people there, but it was something I just needed to do."
When asked if he would ever make a comeback this is what he had to say: "never say never but its never going to happen."

Do you have a reason not to give The Half Boy your vote for the Hall of Fame?
So, considering the username, was this thread just a really REALLY lame way of establishing a gimmick (and/or reviving it)?
It was somebody who posted for years, and then disappeared from the forum for a while.
There was no "gimmick" attached to the username. The name was just a name.
