yes, I know what a "narc" is. If you somehow think that the post is indicative of how someone pretending to be a "narc" would post, I think maybe you dont know what a narc is.

There is nothing about that post that implies he's pretending to be a narc.

He posted for years under the name "Narc" and never pretended to be anything, or have any gimmicks, or anything. It's probably just a name he thought sounded cool. Kinda like how you chose "assassin" even though you're not pretending to be a killer-for-hire.

You asked for an explanation, I gave a simple and straight-forward answer. There was no reason for you to be confrontational or act like a wise-ass. Perhaps instead of jumping to conclusions, you could wait to find out what's really going on before putting in your two cents.

...that would be why I asked the question, to find out if this was something new, or if it's something that was being brought back (whether there is a gimmick or not--just a general reference to this user coming back to post). The word "revived" was very much pertinent, and it's rather foolish of you to suggest that it wasn't.

Narcissism: excessive self love, elitism, having a big ego, being conceited, etc.

I consider posting a "True Hollywood Story" of your "career" on internet forums in which you praise yourself as a poster to be narcissistic. Having quotes from other people also praising you also contributes to that perception.

But the fact that I even have to explain this means that you either don't/didn't know what it means to be a narc, or you're just trolling for an argument.

There actually is more to my username than just me thinking it sounds cool, and I chose for a few different reasons (all of which are irrelevant seeing as how you're just making an assumption about me and trying to correlate that to another assumption about someone else).

I asked for an explanation. I didn't as YOU for an explanation. Nevertheless, you felt it was somehow your duty to answer a question about someone else's username. I didn't jump to any conclusion. It is in fact you that has been making blind assumptions. My question of whether or not there is a gimmick was derived directly from the perception of that gimmick from this thread.

I'm guessing this thread was meant to humorous and was just an elaborate way of saying "what's up guys?". I realize that, and I was commenting simply on the grand entrance, if you want to call it that. I wasn't fishing for some stupid argument over what usernames mean or who knows what the definition of "narc" is. I think you took my post way too seriously.

I refuse to see Narc's return thread turned into semantics on words. It's REALLY annoying to watch certain members turn every single thread they post in, into a war of words.

Any posts not related to Narc will be deleted from here on out.

I should add a Vbookie "Will Narc now return to reply to this thread" haha..

For the record, his return thread was more creative than 99.5% of most people's intro, "Im leaving" or returns threads.
