It released this week and I downloaded it today. I personally thought it was pretty good. Yes, it's a little different from their old sound but it really isnt that bad. They have a few songs that sound just like their old stuff. And their new slower songs that're more like ballads really arent that bad. Overall it has a lotta good songs and I kinda like their newer sound. Even though this pretty much means they're trtying to go mainstream.

Don't Know how I feel about "Bully" since I grew up at Virginia Tech it's kinda hard to find sympathy for someone who kills people because they "needed to be wanted"

Haven't heard it, am gonna download it soon, and give it a lesson, I loved One-X
What? They are pretty much the definition of mainstream rock/alternative.
All their songs have simplistic catchy choruses. I personally grew out of it, but I gave the CD a listen. It was Three Days Grace doing what Three Days Grace do best...selling. Album artwork is pretty awesome though.

Yeah, Bully's probably the weakest track on the album.
It's a good album, but I felt for sure this would be better than the new Breaking Benjamin album. Now, I'm not so sure.

I would have to say, this album is incredibly average. Nowhere near One-X or their self titled one for that matter. Sounds way too light, not digging the sound change at all.
Break is a decent song though.

Maybe it's just me but.. they don't sound any different... just not as catchy from what I've heard.
I'm with you Ken, they sound exactly the same. They haven't changed their sound as a band since they first put out an album. Still the same mainstream alternative rock band they've always been.
