So give an underground band that you would recommend someone to listen to of any genre. Real underground too, not like Never Shout Never or something that we DO know about but pretend like they're small. Someone who you're probably the only one you know that listens to them. Here are some that I think should be mentioned to others.
A Change of Pace - Radio Rock fans, rejoice for a band that I feel is one major show away from gracing 98 Rock. I think most casual music fans will enjoy these guys, they certainly have just as good choruses as any other rock band on right now.
Here are some of mine.
Egypt Central - This is another band that I can see going radio in the near future. The vocals often have slower verses with a chorus that flows. It's something that you can get pumped to. Something that UFC or WWE would pick for a theme song to a show.
The Sound Archives - The most unique thing about this band is definitely the singer. His constant flow of ideas for beats and lyrics keeps the energy flowing through this band, while the combination of the other members remind me of Incubus. Really amazing vocals, and just as good guitarist and drummer.
Ice Nine Kills - The guitarist in this band is amazing I feel, as are all of the other members very good at what they do. The thing that caught my eye is that the beats of their songs change multiple times during it. It's different from anything else, so if you're looking for that uniqueness, this is where you can get it.
Ivoryline - While it has a nice new Rock "Emo" feel to it, these guys are Christian. You get a deep message in most all of their songs, so there is always some to look foward to, lyrics wise. If you don't care to much for religion, you'll probably still enjoy these guys. The singer is amazing, and the entire band works their crafts in their melodic songs.
