Three Songs That Define.....Quentin Tarentino's Movies
Soundtracks are an important part to a movie. The emotions of the melody must match the emotion a certain scene tries to capture.
An expert at this is Quentin Tarentino. The man has been regarded as one of the most creative and unique directors of the present society. With six films, his recent being Inglourious Basterds. He's ceated so many memorable scenes from these movies, mostly because of his varied taste of music.
So, to comemorate his recent theatrical release, what are three songs that have stood out the most from his movies?
1. Stealer's Wheel - Stuck In The Middle
Possibly my favorite scene of all time.
2. Dick Dale - Miserlou
Possibly the greatest opener of all time
3. Chuck Berry - You Never Can Tell
I would say the Green Hornet song from Kill Bill and Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick, and Tich from Death Proof would be honorable mentions.

I agree with Stuck in the Middle With You and Miserlou, totally defined the QT movie franchise, but I can't agree on Chuck Berry's song. :/ I laughly say the Woo-Hoo song from Kill Bill v1, because it gets stuck in your head so much.

Re: Three Songs That Define.....Quentin Tarentino's Movies
I think you pretty much nailed it in the first post. Stuck in the Middle With You is classic, because of it being a classic rock song being taken completely out of context and used in a kind of mind-fucking way.
Everyone relates Miserlou to Pulp Fiction because most people never even heard of it before the film. To this day, the majority still call it "the Pulp Fiction theme".
I would also add "Little Green Bag" from the Reservoir Dogs opening credits. Tarantino can make a lot of things cool, and that slowmo walk towards the bank with closeups of their faces while that song plays is definitely cool. "Coconut" by Harry Nilsson too. Even after all the death and bloodshed of RD, that song at the end still sends everyone home smiling.

Well, as I said earlier, dunno if you saw Death Proof, but the scene with "Hold Tight" playing by Dick Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick, and Tich where Kurt Russell is about to crash and kill those women, that was pretty fucking amazing.
"Girl, You'll Be A Woman" and "Jungle Boogie" could be added to honorable mention.
