I always like introducing artists to people that really need to get the fans and really need to get their music out there. I listen to a lot of indie and artists that are breaching into mainstream status.
I feel like this band is really the definition of musicianship, great song writing, and melodic genius. And for once, it isn't a metal band.
I saw these guys about a month ago when I went to go see Les Claypool. I've never been so impressed by an opening act in my entire life. These guys were simply amazing.
They are a traditional bluegrass and folk band with the styles of metal, punk, and jazz, much like their mentor Claypool. They're named after a traditional folk song. These guys have a lot of soul, fire, and energy into their performance, but also their songs.
I just want to take the time to try and get you guys onto this band. Because I instantly bought a CD after seeing them.
What do you guys think?
