Slipknot last December in Manchester with Children of Bodom and Machine Head supporting, was pretty good, I've never listened to CoB or Machine Head before, and I haven't listened to Slipknot since I was about 15, I wouldn't have gone but hte ticket was free so why not?

Every year on the last weekend of September, there's a music festival called the Big Spring Jam, in Huntsville. I went to last year's event, and it's one of the best events I ever been too. It had artists like 12 Stones, Saving Abel, Shinedown, Buckcherry, Tantric, The Presidents of the USA, Hinder, and so on. A total of 44 bands performed at the event, over the course of three days.
Don't believe me, go visit the site.
I'm jealous, I wish they did something like that in texas

Went to AC/DC last night in Dublin. Best gig ive ever been to and probably ever will go to. The gig sold out after 3 minutes so it was well worth the night i spent outside ticketmaster in the cold of November. Ive seen loads of AC/DC dvds and its everything that it looks. Going to see AC/DC again in June, this time its outdoors.
The last concert I went to was in December... It was really enjoyable too. It was the Australian Pink Floyd Show.
Of course they were great live though... It was the anniversary of The Wall album so they played almost the whole album. They had great lighting and the music was perfect... Not to loud, and no heavy sounds that disrupted everything else.

We drop like dominoes

Metric last year, July @ The House of Blues in Toronto. Twas epic fun, though I wish it would have been this year in July, then I could have heard "Gimmie Sympathy".
Sound Tribe Sector 9 was actually the last show I've been to as well. I was rolling my nuts off on ecstasy, it was a great time. Probably one of the only jam bands worth seeing these days. Too bad I had to sit through a set of Umphrey's McGee to see them, I can't stand them.

The last concert I attended was New Found Glory, Bayside, Set Your Goals, and Fireworks. We headed downtown a little early so we could pass the time. I went with my girlfriend and my cousin came with his girlfriend as well. We went to Millennium Park and just chilled. We went to the House of Blues to get the tickets and wait in line and it started pouring on us for about a good half an hour. They eventually let us in and we got down on the floor and stuck to the borders of it. Fireworks opened and they were better than I thought they would be live. Then Set Your Goals came up and they were fantastic. After that Bayside hit the stage and were great as Bayside is always good. Then New Found Glory got up and they made that their night. Jordan lost his microphone one time in the middle of song and just looked around. They got some guy in a Frylock outfit on stage. They played a great hour set and the whole crowd was digging it. Great show overall, definitely the best I've ever been to.
