Nolan started from ground zero with batman to establish a new environment for these characters to play in.

Batman had become, after the last movie before Begins, a neon infested joke of a character who carried a "Bat Credit Card" *cringes*

Spider-Man, as a whole movie character, has not reached that point in many peoples' eyes and the environment these movies were made in stayed faithful for the most part to the comics.

There's no need to start all over again when you have that successful history in place with only one, in my view, mediocre movie (part 3)

So you saying Spiderman not as popular as Batman and Spiderman's movies cannot be remade cause they were good for the most part unlike the original Batman movies??? And i told you alot of people think that these Spiderman movies sucked balls.

No...I am saying that theres really no reason to start all over with teh Spider-Man movies because the framework that was established in the first two films were successful and they are still plenty of stories to tell based on those characters without going back to the beginning and tweaking everything.

Batman, again before Begins, had become stale and went way far away from where it had started with Tim Burton. It was refreshing to the franchise to start all over and the ticket sales reflect that.

Also, you keep saying "alot" of people hated all the Spider-man movies but the ticket sales for Part 1 and 2 were beyond successful and you're really the first person I've spoke to who hated all 3.

And I agree Part 2 was the best one so far....thats why expectations were so high for part 3.

I'm curious who you are talking to as every article i've read and fan poll conducted says the majority loved part 2 the most.

Ticket sales for part 2 surpassed 1 and 3 as well.

Sales for 3 may have been good but no where near the level part 2 got...this was due to reviews and word of mouth from people who saw it.

I respect your opinion but I'm just saying the vast majority disagree with you and I assume your friends who think this.

It was considered for awhile I know this...

Bruce Campbell wanted the role but in the end they put it on hold for now.
