Overeem was dominating the fight. That much seems apparent, though Cro Cop would have us believe that he was just biding his time and waiting for the right moment to stop getting his ass kicked.

But whatever you think of Cro Cop and his ethical code, that knee strike was clearly in the groin neighborhood. A cursory examination of the video evidence proves that much. Even if Overeem feels that he didn’t get him right on the buttons, as it were, he’s got to concede that Cro Cop might have been just a little extra sensitive in the testicular region at that point in the fight, seeing as how he’d already been nailed there. Nobody likes to see a fight end like that, especially the guy who leaves the ring with one of his testicles inside his body, but let’s give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Aww he's frustrated that it's his own fault the fight ended.

Matt Hughes took two with a foot to the groin from GSP, yet he continued, Ken Shamrock took how many punches to the nuts from Pat Smith back in the day, yet he continued. And if you saw the pictures of Cro Cop, he was getting FUCKED UP, he bailed on the match when he had a chance, and yes, it's Overeem's fault for giving him the chance to bail so he couldn't get the win.

You have to take into account that his crotch area is very sensitive these days after how many times Kongo kneed him there, he continued in that fight and lost, showing it's not a good idea.

That fight with Kongo was how many months ago? That's an excuse. Plain and simple. Cro Cop was getting fucked up, he knew it, Overeem gave him a chance to get outta the ass kicking he was getting and he took it. Smart move on Cro Cop's part, dumb move on Overeem's part going for a knee shot anywhere on the lower body after hitting him once in the crotch with one.

Simply put, if that fight continues, Overeem wins, like I said he was going to.

Somewhat yes, but he was in pain which he was against Kongo and thought he could continue, wrong.

He quit because he has the experience that from that position of pain he knew he couldn't win, nothing to do with already being beaten down, he can take losses in that way.
