Alright peeps, I wanted to start some dicussion on this board. So I'm gonna go out here and basically offer up the following topic of discussion...
Who are your favorite fighters that nobody's heard of yet? They can be in the amateur division or they can be pros on a low level show that nobody really knows about yet. Basically it's a case of "Shill your favorite unknown fighter".
Here are my two favorites.
Cody "The Wolverine" Stevens - He's a featherweight who works primarily for the NAAFS here in Ohio and the midwest area. He's 6-1 as a pro and 11-1 overall between his amateur and pro fights. He's well rounded and pretty big for a 145er, good on his feet and awesome on the ground. His only loss was by submission to a triangle choke, and most of his fights haven't gone past the second round.
Jason "Bad Luck" Liss - A lightweight who works for Wreckroom Fight Series and NAAFS here in Ohio. He's a long, lean 155er who is 4-2 at the amateur level. I also went to high school with him so this is me being a homer and being glad that somebody from my school is doing some good stuff in the MMA world. I think Jason could do some serious damage if he decides to go pro eventually, and I look forward to seeing it.
