UFC president Dana White is a huge Wanderlei Silva fan, but even White admits that it's do or die for time for Silva (31-8-1), who's lost three fights in a row and will face Keith Jardine in a few days at UFC 84.
“Wanderlei has lost three in a row,” White told thefightnetwork.com. “He’s one of these unique fighters who people just love to watch fight because of his mentality on fighting. Obviously, though, [he] has to get a win.”
Silva dropped his last fight in exciting fashion, losing a three round all out brawl against Chuck Liddell, but Silva can't settle for "exciting" if he wants to stick around according to White.
“This guy has to win some fights here to stay in the UFC and stay at the top of the 205-pound division.”
This warning comes at a time when the UFC has cut fighters for much less than a three fight losing streak, and though Silva is an exciting fighter and has big name appeal, he is not immune to being cut if he continues to lose; especially when you consider that the organization has been willing to part with other big name fighters such as Tim Sylvia.
In any event, Silva has a tough draw to work out the kinks in Jardine (13-3-1, 5-2 UFC) who defeated Liddell in his last fight at UFC 76.
Come on Silva, if you don't win this alot of boys will be crying

A tough draw in Jardine? Who writes this crap? Seriously Jardine is going to try to prove (as I stated in my analysis and discussion of the card) that he has the biggest set of brass balls in the UFC and he's going to try to stand in against Silva and he's going to get his face rearranged.
