DreamFighters.com: Thank you Rich Franklin for taking the time today to speak to DreamFighters.com
Rich Franklin: No problem glad to do it
DreamFighters.com: How is training going? - Who are you training with right now?
Rich Franklin: I am training with Matt Hume in Seattle Washington. Things are going real good and I am right on schedule
DreamFighters.com: Are you wanting a re-match with Anderson Silva ?
Rich Franklin: If I earn another title shot and he is still the champ yes, of course I want to fight him again
DreamFighters.com: Many of our readers like to know what a Professional, and such a MMA star like your self goes through on a daily basis. Can you quicky run down what a normal training day looks like?.
Rich Franklin: I get up around 8 in the morning and Run on the treadmill for 45 minutes. I then do business things like return emails and talk to the guys at American Fighter Jeff and J.T. to do business. I go to the gym around 11 and train till 1:30-2. I eat then rest and go back for more training like boxing till 7 then swim and then go home.
DreamFighters.com: What do you think about the new fight org that start up DREAM?
Rich Franklin: I am really to busy to keep up with all of the new groups springing up.
DreamFighters.com: Rich, I would like to thank you for doing this interview. It was an honor speaking with a true MMA star. Best of luck.
Rich Franklin: Thanks, anytime
A pretty bland interview if you ask me but the main point to take out of this is that he says he is willing to fight Silva for a third time, now he has been dominated in the first two fights, I see no way that he would be able to make the third fight any different. I would however be interesting to see what he tries.

I think he could maybe do better (not win) if he got a new gym ,he's too nice a guy, but he needs a new gym with some better coaches he's too loyal to Gurgel

Very true, he may be very good friend with Gurgel but leaving to be trained somewhere else shouldn't be taken personally, he wants to be champ and should do whatever is needed to achieve that.

After domination in two fights in a row from Silva, enough's enough. I'm sure Gurgel could understand Rich doing something different in order to improve himself and perhaps actually establish a chance to beat Anderson Silva.
But man, if they do fight again, and Spider dominates him...it's just going to be sad. Very, very sad for Franklin.
I seriously think that if he loses for a third time to Silva that he will either leave the UFC and pursue somewhere else or just decide enough is enough and retire.
