I don't see them giving Forrest a rematch any time soon since he lost pretty decisively.
I don't think they will give Rampage a shot just yet.
I think Lyoto Machida will probably be the next to face Rashad.
Whoever it is I hope they beat him decisively and get his run over with quick.

And he lost to Franklin who fights at 185 most of the time, I'm assuming you know that.
Franklin cuts alot of weight. Im pretty sure Franklin is actually bigger than Hamill. Franklin now fights at 205. Franklin used to fight at 205. Franklin is a 205 fighter. Im assuming you dont know that actually.

Do you have a reason not to give The Half Boy your vote for the Hall of Fame?

Franklin is not a 205 pound fighter at this point. He's had two fights at Light Heavweight in the UFC, and one of those is going back to April of 2005. He's had 9 UFC fights at MW. He's about to his 3rd at LHW. He is a middleweight. A big middleweight, but still a middleweight.
Franklin is one of the best middleweight's out there. Part of the reason he's good and was so dominant (pre-Silva) is his size advantage. By cutting down to MW, he's a big MW. He's barely average sized for a Light Heavyweight. He does what the vast majority of sub-heavyweight fighters in the UFC (and all of MMA) do and cuts weight.
If Franklin is considered a LHW, then wouldn't we have to use the same criteria for other fighters? Forrest Griffin is huge for a LHW and has fought at HW outside of the UFC. Same with Rashad Evans, though he's fought at HW in the UFC. George St. Pierre is masssive for a welterweight. We don't have to quantify every win of one of these guys with "but they're naturally bigger". Why do that for Franklin?
Besides which, I'm pretty sure Hammill cuts weight too. Its unlikely he walks around right at 205 pounds. And if he did and chose to still fight at 205 rather than cut to 185, that would be his own choice.

I could see Machida getting the next shot, but I think him winning the belt is a worst case scenario for the UFC. Machida is good... and he's also quite boring.
As for Griffin, I would almost be surprised if he doesn't get a rematch with Evans fairly quickly. If Griffin gets one or maybe two decent quality wins and Evans still has the belt, I would guess we would see a rematch sometime in the summer.
For one, its putting together two massively popular fighters. Two, its another big money fight, because of point one. Three, the UFC usually looks at what makes business sense first and foremost. Finally, while the win by Evans was obviously decisive, the fight as a whole was not pure dominance from Evans and it was fairly exciting.

I know how many fights Franklin had at MW. My point is that he is fighting at LHW now, so he is a lightweight fighter. Hamill did not lose to a middleweight Franklin, he lost to a lightheavyweight Franklin...Franklin came in at 205 and he had to cut weight to be 205, that was my point. Just because he fought at MW, it doesnt mean Rich Franklin is a small lightheavyweight. Franklin cuts alot of weight. Same thing with Anderson Silva. People might not know this, but Silva walks around at 220lbs most of the times. Not too many fighters can cut that much weight. You are right about GSP, he is another one of these guys who cut massive weight. GSP could easily be fighting at 205.
