Japanese tabloid Tokyo Sports reported that Kimbo Slice will be making appearance at Dec 6 K-1 show in Yokohama Japan to say hi to Japanese fans, K-1 Event Producer Tanigawa confirmed. His K-1 debut match will be in March, vs. current K-1 heavyweight champ, Badr Hari.
I know alot of you have no idea who Badr Hari is.

I know who Hari. I don't watch that much kickboxing, but I do try to follow K-1. So is this supposed to be an MMA fight or kickboxing? If its kickboxing, Kimbo is done. If its MMA, he might have a chance. Hari has one MMA fight and he lasted 22 seconds.

Words can't describe how bad an idea this is. So after being dropped by Seth, instead of dialing back the competition and maybe fighting lower on a card to relieve some pressure, they're just leading him to the slaughter. What is Bas thinking.

Money, most likely. K-1 has lots of it, and pays pretty damned well. Not to mention that sponsorships that a name fighter can get. Bobb Sapp made tons of money in Japan.
I can't see any of the American promotions offered Kimbo a big payday at this point, not compared to what Elite was paying him. If he succeeds, he's making money and rebuilds his name to an extent. If he fails, well, at least he's making money.

The Hari-Aerets fight coming up should be fun.
I think its under MMA rules but I could be wrong, not much has been made of this fight yet.
Also Zar, Seth Vs Kimbo 2 is rumored for K-1 NYE Dynamite, but who knows. I don't think K-1 is a place where Kimbo wants to be, unless there giving him jobbers like Hong Man Choi or the infamous Mon Soo Kim, I don't think he can stand with anyone in K-1s Heavyweight divsion.

Choi is more dangerous than people give him credit for. Kickboxers don't always translate well to MMA, but Choi's size alone makes him dangerous in MMA. Yeah, Fedor finished him fast, but Fedor is Fedor. He's only been KO'd once in kickboxing, and even Hari couldn't drop him with some clean shots to the chin - he had to work the body and do damage there.
I don't think Kimbo would want any part of Choi at this point.

It'd be one hell of a side show fight though, on par with Butterbean Vs Zulu

It could make for a helluva entertaining fight, no doubt. I'd definitely watch it. I'd rather see Kimbo fight tough competition, as I think Choi would be for him, rather than an outright can.
Speaking of Zuluzinho, I finally got the DVD for the opening round of the Pride openweight tournament. Zuluzinho against Big Nog... I don't think I've ever seen a professional fighter offering up an armbar the way that Zuluzinho was to Nogueira. Seriously, you learn at the white belt level in BJJ not to leave an arm out like that, and he's supposedly a purple belt. Once Nogueira had Zuluzinho on the ground, the big guy seemed like he was just looking for a way out.
