On Aug. 9 the UFC will hold Seek & Destroy. GSP will defend his Welterweight Title against Fitch. Brock Lesnar will try and get his first win against Herring and Kenny Florian will take on Roger Huerta.
The fight I'm looking forward the most is Florian vs Huerta. This is going to be the match of the night imo. I dont know for sure but I think the winner will get a Title shot. It's going to be exciting.
Also I'm curious to see how Brock does. Against Mirr he looked good and if the ref hadnt stood them up, I think Lesnar would've won. He can be devastating, experience is the only thing he's missing. His wrestling skills makes up for his lack of BJJ.
Also as good as Fitch is, GSP should walk away with the win here.

Do you have a reason not to give The Half Boy your vote for the Hall of Fame?
Can't see Fitch pulling this out, he's tailor made for GSP.
I'm also interested in Brock. I'm not sure I agree that he would have won the last fight if not for the ref, but he did look solid and against a tough opponent and former champion. I think this is another match-up that could go either way.
I still dont understand why the UFC doesnt give Lesnar some easier fights. They are trying to build this guy and yet they give him hard fights. Mir is BJJ expert and Herring is been around awhile and can fight.
Why not feed Lesnar someone like Sanchez so he can gain experience or something? Hell, I would have been way happier if they would've put Kongo against him instead of Herring. That would've been a better match up for Lesnar.

I don't know. Lesnar does need more experience but usually guys will gain that elsewhere. He's in a tough position. They want him to be a star for the organization but at the same time they don't seem to want to give him the Kimbo treatment, which I hate by the way..
Mir is actually a pretty favorable match up for Lesnar. Mir typically does not do well against wrestlers.
GSP vs. Fitch should be good. I don't expect it to be over quick.

I didnt think for a second that Lesnar could beat Mir. He did well and he came close, but at the end, Mir was just too experienced and too skilled for Lesnar.
The way Elite is promoting Kimbo is smart. People might not like it, but its good business. Kimbo is a superstar cause of it right now. He is without a doubt their top draw.
If they had matched Kimbo Slice with someone half decent, he wouldve been exposed as the useless fighter he really is. How smart would that have been?

Oops.
I actually meant to say Herring instead of Mir.
Herring is a better match up for Lesnar because Herring doesn't do so well against wrestlers.

Nah.. I know it's smart business. I just don't enjoy the fights lol.
I dont blame you. How can anyone enjoy a fight between Kimbo and Tank To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

I do agree that Herring is a better match up for Lesnar than Mir was, but it is still a very tough fight for him. Mark Coleman would've been perfect actually, or like I said before, they should've picked Kongo instead imo.
