Re: Wrestling Clique's Best P4P MMA Fighter The Final
This is tough if you look at it logically.
Silva= The Striker, he's so accurate with his punches it's nuts and he has so much power for such a lanky guy, add that to a crazy chin (check his Hendo fight he takes one right on the chin second round) and he has very solid BJJ. However he's a very poor wrestler in my opinion .
GSP= Probably has the best mma wrestling. It's near impossible to take him down and he manages to take down world championship wrestlers with great ease it seems. He has very solid bjj and while we haven't seen it since 06 he does have decent striking (poor headmovement though).
Aoki= Crazy BJJ, absolutely Nuts. This guy could be better than Penn at BJJ he's just crazy flexible to and very good at locking in tough submissions. From what I've seen of his striking it's nothing to write home about, but the moment he gets in trouble he jumps guard on you (lay and pray from the back lol).
Fedor: Awesome Sambo, transitioned it perfectly into mma, very solid bjj, crazy work ethic (he says most others based on skill alone would be better than him if it wasn't for his workout routines). Solid hands and good chin.
I gotta go Fedor, GSP has a suspect chin, Silva has poor wrestling and Aoki only decent standing, Fedor has it all, wrestling, sambo, bjj, striking.
