"When Kimbo fought Cantrell, that was the third time he's been knocked out in under 30 seconds...the THIRD time!
So is that a real fight? I mean come on! The guy tapped before he hit the matt - he was tapping on the way down!
Sean Gannon beat him didn't he? And how long did Gannon last in the UFC?!!
Kimbo's one of those guys who doesn't have any ground game. He's training and he's learning but he's been built up as such a big star and that's the thing that bothers me.
People talk about him like he's the next great thing when he really hasn't done anything.
He's been built up because of the Internet and him beating a bunch of guys on the street.
I could make some impressive knockout videos too if you let me walk outside and just punch people and knock them out – hey you, come fight!
F*** we can make a highlight reel tomorrow and go round beating people up and talking about it – we could just go up to people and start dropping them – wow!"
It is very ironic that Chuck talks about someone else not having a ground game. Kimbo and Chuck have almost the same fighting style so for Chuck to insult Kimbo's fighting style he is in fact insulting himself.
You don't have any ground game either Chuck!

Im sorry but just because Chucks style favors grinding it out on the feet does not in anyway mean that Chuck has "no ground game". Has kimbo ever been a stand out Divsion 1 wrestler for Cal Poly? Does Kimbo have any formal training in Ju Jitsu? I think you need to expand alittle bit on what ground game is, being a former wrestler helps a ground game more then you ever know, even if he doesn't activly use it.

Personal jabs are not really necessary are they? I don't claim to be an MMA expert but I am trying to generate discussion in the MMA forum.
Chuck got kicked relentlessly by Keith Jardine and didn't do anything about it. If he had a ground game would that not have been the time to use it?
I have never saw Chuck on the ground unless as the result of a knockout.
I may be a little uneducated on Liddell's past but it seems he has a great sprawl to cover up for the lack of a ground game.
At any rate, with his lack of use of a ground game he has no right to be questiong anyone else's ground game.

Well I would have to disagree, I think for the longest time Liddell was so dominate on his feet he would have been stupid to take it else where, Even with his past education in wrestling. Even when people tried to take him down and couldn't hold him down for all that long which IMO is also apart of a sucsessfull ground game.
Now that hes on the Decline of his career I guess we'll see, if he changes his gameplan to involve it abit. But it still thinks foolish to compair a former Divsion 1 wrestler and someone with formal JuJitsu training three times a week to a street fighter.

Fair points.
Chuck has a background in wrestling...but he hasn't really showed it.
I was literally yelling at the screen "WTF Chuck?, do something different!" during the Jardine fight. It was just awful.
