JZ/Aoki No Contest

What do you guys think about the no contest ruling for the JZ/Aoki fight from DREAM.1 over the weekend?

I've heard that there is a possiblity that Calvancante could be DQed and knocked out of the Lightweight Grand Prix, which I think would be a shame because he was winning that fight before it was stopped.

Shinya Aoki is a sick, sick jiu-jitsu guy, but he has absolutely nothing on the feet.

I think they should have them both advance to the next round and have their rematch be a quarterfinal fight.

I haven't taken to time to watch the fight yet. Were the elbows intentionally to the back of the head/neck? or was is a heat of the moment reckless thing, like when Brock hit Mir?

They didn't look intentional which is probably why Calvancante wasn't DQed. JZ hit him with about three elbows while Aoki shot in on him. The first elbow hit Aoki in the back/rib, the second hit him in the upper back/neck area and the third looked like it was going in the same direction but Aoki crumpled to the mat before it hit completely.

I think I read that Aoki wanted to continue but his corner and the ringside doctor advised against it, so the fight was called off.
