With the announcement of the return of Mark "The Hammer" Coleman, who will face Brock Lesnar in his first match back, the question arises will Coleman succeed at age 43 like Randy Couture or will he look more like Ken Shamrock when he tried to return? This is a very even matchup in that they both have a wrestling background and have quite similar fighting styles. Will the youth of Lesnar overwhelm Coleman, or will Coleman show that he is just as good as ever like Randy Couture did?
What do you think?

It looks to me like the Lesnar camp woudl believe that he's shot because honestly, he'd start to be a tough sell at 1-2 career even if it has been against notable opponents. I haven't seen much of Coleman recently but his recent losses do not sound too bad.. A couple have been against Fedor who we know is a world class fighter albeit a big pussy.. lol.
Mark Coleman should have finished when Pride did. THis is a bad idea. I just hope he doesn't bring his daughters into the ring to meet Brock like he did with Fedor. That was fucked up.

Coleman is one of the all-time greatest in my opinion, but even though coleman I'm sure has a trick or 2 that lesnar hasn't seen, lesnar is almost a clone of coleman in his prime. and tho it hurts to say it, with the strict drug testing in the US, who knows what shape coleman will be in compared to his old self.
i want to see coleman vs shamrock.

I think that is what the UFC should do. Let guys like Royce, Coleman, Shamrock, Tank etc. fight each other. But keep them out of competition with the young guys.
