Kurt Angle appeared as a guest on the FERRALL radio show on Sirius Satellite Radio. During the interview Angle announced that he has signed a contract with an "MMA promotion" and he will fight Randy Couture in what may be his only MMA fight. Angle also mentioned that the fight will take place in Los Angeles and the deals are signed. Angle picked Couture as an opponent because he admitted he would fare the best against his style of fighting.
I doubt that it is true because we all know Kurt Angle has a few screws loose but the rumor is out there.

Well, Couture is fighting right now w/ UFC about the HDNet stuff he is doing. But Kurt is crazy, and unless Couture got back with UFC, I see this thing, if true, being drawn out for over a year.
Plus if it did happen and Kurt won, this would not be his only fight.
The contract that is being disputed right now is Couture's announers contract with the UFC.
His fight contract is set to expire in August I think and he believes he is eligible to fight after that.

Would be quite amusing watching Randy go through a schooling class with Kurt,
So Kurt, this is a kimura, this is a heel hook (this one is REAL), now here's an armbar, I don't do this one much I believe it's called a gogoplata.
Seriously Kurt, Brock is 10x the athlete and he got tapped in under 2 minutes. Randy, although wrestling based, is a far better and more experienced MMA all rounder than Mir, this would onl go one way.
And as far as it being his only fight, you're damn right please fill the cup next to Mr Sherk's, you're out.
Oh Kurt, stop talking about mma already. It's getting sad.
Randy has a tenative new contract signed with HDNet Fights if his contract with the UFC is figured out and will indeed expire as he thinks it should. This is public knowledge, so Kurt would have had to sign a contract with HDNET saying that if the legal battle ends well, and COuture's contract becomes official, then he will get a fight. Doesn't seem likely.
