Liddell Vs Shogun Set For UFC 85 In June

MMAJunkie.com reported earlier today that the rumored bout between Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua is now official. Both fighters have stated that the fight will happen at UFC 85 in June at London's O2 Arena.

Shogun will look to avenge the loss handed to his former teammate Wanderlei Silva at UFC 79 by Liddell and will also look to get back on the winning side of things himself after being submitted by Forrest Griffin in his UFC debut in September at UFC 76.

Liddell on the other hand, as mentioned, is coming off a decision victory against Silva, in a fight that had been waited for for a very long time.

Honestly, I see Chuck winning this one. Not sure why but I do.

Liddell is the fav, I think he usually is. He is UFC. He's my hometown boy, so I got to go with him. He just did a book signing last week for his new auto out.

If Shogun comes in conditioned, then this should be a hell of a fight.

I would give it to Shogun if he hadn't lost to Forrest.

Shogun is actually really really fat right now, like he's so out of shape it's not even funny, he has huge man tits.

Albeit he just had surgery but still with Chuck most likely training really hard and Shogun not being able to, I see Chuck taking this, plus Shogun's main strength comes from his uber deadly clinch and it's pretty hard to make Chuck get in the clinch, you'll just eat jabs all day long.
