| Re: UFC 81: "Breaking Point" Discussion I was watching the PPV with my roommate who had never sat down and watched an entire UFC PPV before. And like you, the post match comments made a Lesnar fan out of my roommate too. He was also very impressed with Mir for his conducts both inside and outside of the ring. Both fighters were very respectful to each other after the fight, and didn't rub it in, which really appealed to my roommate. I thought Lesnar-Mir was a super intense match with a very exciting ending. I wasn't rooting for either in particular, but the way it ended made me jump out of my seat in surprise... then it happened again with the Silvia-Nogueira fight! And again, Silvia was gracious in defeat and Nogueira was full of class as a winner. Overall, I was very happy with the money spent, and thought it was a great PPV showcase for UFC especially for drawing in new fans. And not only did we see 7 (or 8?) fights, I think we saw just about every finish possible - submission, KO, TKO, unanimous decision, and split decision. It was like a UFC sampler!! | ||||||||||||||

| Re: UFC 81: "Breaking Point" Discussion Mir was trying to move his head everywhere not just tucked. Brock needs lots of improvement but he is dominate on top. He is extremely quick and crazy powerful. Leg submissions will always be how to beat him. Arm bars will be difficult because his strength, possible but difficult. | ||||||||||||||
