This match does not depend on Lesnar at all which is the case with all recent Frank Mir fights, if the Frank Mir that broke Tim Sylvia's arm shows up the Frank Mir prior to his accident then Lesnar and all heavyweights are fucked but if this new fat, chubby out of shape Frank Mir shows up it's Lesnar's Fight to win.
I have mentioned before that I think this card will draw huge numbers (maybe not record breaking now that the main event is Sylvia vs Nog, I love Nog but Sylvia can result in a boring fight) becasue it will indeed be drawing in a huge crowd that normally doesn't care. A bunch of guys I know who don't watch MMA have already asked me repeatedly when the Brock Lesnar (or Giant WWE dude as some call him) fight is.
Lesnar is a name, and Dana White was smart to get him. However I wish he had fought a lesser opponent for his debut, I have faith in Brock as an athlete and a fast learner, but Frank Mir is a tough fight for your second ever MMA fight.

I think I really have to give it to the match makers on this one... I think anyone less than Mir would be too easy, and too predictable a win for Lesnar. The story behind both fighters makes this fight even more interesting, I can't wait! Now, should Lesnar win, let's hope it wouldn't give Kurt Angle any crazy ideas...
See Frank Mir that occasionally appears now like the Mir that showed up versus Vera, that Mir is no better than any of the heavyweight jobbers out there, if the armbreaking Mir shows up then Lesnar is screwed, simple as that.
The Mir of old showed up in his last fight and Subbed Hardonk at 1:17 of the first round.
Even before the accident Frank could run hot and cold, and his gas tank has always been questionable. If he pulled a quick sub he was fine, but in the second Wes Sims fight he was dragging in the second round.
