Did anyone else notice that the UFC production crew did everything possible to keep Randy Couture off of TV during the PPV? He was cornering Karo Paryisian, but the UFC refused to show him on camera. Didn't you wonder why the camera stayed in Ryo's corner between each round even tho he was losing? One time you were able to catch a glimpse of Randy from the nose down as Karo was entering the ring, and once you could hear his voice while he was coaching, but that was it. If Dana is truly trying to patch things up, he shouldnt try to keep their current Champ off of TV.

There'll be no sorrow there, no more burdens to bear,
No more sickness, no more pain, no more parting over there;
And forever I will be with the One who died for me,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
I didn't get to see the PPV, but I did read about it. I don't think Couture can really blame UFC for wanting to leave his face off the camera when he's threatened to leave them. I wouldn't want to promote any fighter not with my organization either. Besides, the star of the match was Paryisian, not Couture, and the report I read actually said that Joe Rogan pointed out Couture to the viewers, so it's not like they pretended he wasn't there. They've done it with Couture before actually when he cornered for one of his fighters (sorry can't remember who or when) when Couture was still in his first retirement. Again I didn't see it, but the feeling I get is that while it might have been a bit awkward for White, Couture didn't get any more, or less attention than other corner men in the past.
I do have to wonder though, if Paryisian did himself any favors in terms of moving up in the Welterweight title picture by bringing Couture along.
