UFC Signs Sokoudjou - Will Fight Lyoto Machida At UFC 79
The UFC’s light heavyweight division has almost always been their deepest in talent and with their recent signing of Team Quest’s Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou it looks to be getting even deeper.
Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas will host UFC 79 on December 29th. That night Pride fanboys will have a new fighter to pull for in the UFC. It has been quite some time since we have gotten to watch Sokoudjou fight. Not since his knockout victory over Ricardo Arona has he entered an MMA event.
The 205-pound “The African Assassin”, Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, will make his UFC debut against unbeaten Lyoto Machida. Machida is no pushover. He owns wins over BJ Penn, Rich Franklin, and Stephan Bonnar.
This should be an exciting but possible quick fight between these to up and comers.

This should be interesting. I have saw a few of his fights from PRIDE and he is a great fighter. Another good addition to the 205 weight class.
