Fans of Pride always claimed that Pride fighters were so much better than UFC fighters. Has that claim been validated? If one looked at Quinton "Rampage" Jackson's dismantling of "The Iceman" Chuck Liddell they might say yes. But if you look at such bouts as Mirko CroCop's recent fights in the UFC one would say no.
So what do you think?

I am by far a UFC fan over Pride, for everything from the pace of the fights to the production value. But fighting in the cage is different from fighting in the ring, which can be a difficult transition for fighters like Crocop and Shogun. There were definitely other factors in the fights, but I think the cage has contributed to each man's losses. Read Big John's take on it:

I don't think it matters where you fight. It is the ighter and the matchup that matters.
I do wish Bas would do commentary for the UFC though now that Randy has quit.
I really liked Bas on commentary. He would be a great addition to the UFC announce team, but I don't think they will sign him.

Is there heat between Dana and BAs? I would assume there is a bit due to his work with the IFL.
I have heard there is a little bit of heat between them. I think part of it was the whole PRIDE vs. UFC thing and the IFL probably didn't help matters much.
