Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() | Chuck vs Wanderlei So seriously...why cant this fight still happen? Just because Chuck is coming off of 2 losses? Is UFC hoping that their fans do not realize that Silva is also coming off of 2 losses, both by knockout? This could be even bigger than if both fighters were coming off of a winning streak, because now they have more to prove, esp Chuck. I hope the UFC isn't so worried about saving Chuck's legacy that they won't continue to let this fight happen. Just call it UFC 79: Redemption.

I think they should have Chuck vs. Wanderlei and then have Forrest vs. Jardine for a title shot. I really don't know what to think of Chuck. He really needs to broaden his game instead of looking for one knock out punch. That is just not working for him anymore.

To me it seemed like the UFC wanted to feed Jardine to Chuck so he could get a win under his belt before the Silva fight, and it blew up in their face. Personally I think they should have had Chuck face Silva straight away. Hopefully it’ll still go ahead, but they shouldn’t have said Chuck will face Wanderlei if he beats Jardine.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() | Re: Chuck vs Wanderlei Yeah, i'd really like to see a forrest-jardine rematch. i think forrest was winning until jardine hit him with that combo. someone has to fight rampage in a few monthes tho, and i think right now Jardine is the best candidate. Here's my personal opinion on the top 10 rankings for the UFC LHW division right now: 1. Rampage 2. Dan Henderson 3. Wanderlei Silva 4. Keith Jardine 5. Chuck Liddell 6. Tito Ortiz 7. Forrest 8. Mauricio Rua 9. Rashad Evans 10. Lyoto Machida The definitely don't want to feed Rampage to Silva yet, he's already destroyed him twice. Liddell is definitely fairly far from a title shot, Tito and Rashad already have their next fight scheduled, and since Forrest was TKO'd by Jardine recently, he's prolly next in line for the title. Opinions?

Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() | Re: Chuck vs Wanderlei That would be good, except that puts the title match 5-6 monthes away, which is too long, esp with the lightweight title already up in limbo. The date for ortiz-evans II hasnt even been officially announced. I think Rampage should fight Jardine or someone on the same night, and have the winner of ortiz-evans as the #1 contender. Only problem would be rashad refuses to fight jardine, which may be inevitable eventually. But I think Tito will prolly take it anyway...only reason it was even a draw was because of the point deduction, and tito gassed in the 3rd round.

What’s the deal between Jardine and Rashard? I don’t think I’ve heard of that one. But I also think Ortiz will win the re-match. He was so stupid for holding onto the cage.
