It was announced during the UFC 72 "Victory" pay-per view that UFC 74 "Respect" will emanate from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 25th and will be headlined by Randy Couture vs. Gabriel Gonzaga. It will be Couture's first defense of his newly regained Heavyweight title, as he takes on the man who shocked the world with his domination of Mirko CroCop, Brazilian stand-out Gabriel Gonzaga.
Also on the card it was confirmed that Georges St. Pierre will have his first fight since dropping the belt to Ultimate Fighter 4 winner Matt Serra, as he takes on Josh Koscheck. Koscheck of course is coming off his victory over Diego Sanchez, a man who until Koscheck fought him was undefeated in his professional MMA career.
And finally, during the PPV UFC 75 was confirmed for England with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs. Dan Henderson for the 205 lb. crown announced, and Mirko CroCop and Michael Bisping listed as participants on the fight card.
