Roger Huerta added to The Ultimate Fighter 5 Finale
Roger Huerta added to The Ultimate Fighter 5 Finale

Roger Huerta has been added to The Ultimate Fighter 5 Finale in an effort to capitalize on his exposure as cover boy on a recent issue of Sports Illustrated magazine.

Huerta, who was originally scheduled to fight at UFC 74, will be on the televised card of the Finale alongside the Jens Pulver vs. BJ Penn rematch and lightweight final.

His opponent is Doug Evans from The Wolfpack, an Alaskan-based mixed martial arts team. Evans has a record of 6-0 and is the AFC (Alaska Fighting Championship) bantamweight champion.

I've seen Evans fight (AFC is broadcast on The Fight Network here) honestly I've never really seen enough out of him to warrent a fight against Huerta. That raises the question to why Roger ALWAYS faces UFC first timers?
