Roger Huerta (17-1-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) will fight an as-of-yet unnamed opponent at UFC 74 according to UFCjunkie.com sources. UFC 74 is currently scheduled for August 25, 2007 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Huerta made his UFC debut with a unanimous-decision win over Jason Dent at UFC 63. He then won a crazy-quick 19-second TKO victory over John Halverson at UFC 67, and most recently defeated Leonard Garcia by unanimous decision on the undercard of UFC 69 (St. Pierre vs. Serra).
While no opponent has yet been named for Huerta, its good to see the impressive lightweight added to the developing card for UFC 74. The UFC 74 fight card is currently scheduled to feature Randy Couture vs. Gabriel Gonzaga for the heavyweight title, Georges St. Pierre vs. Josh Koscheck, Frank Mir vs. Tim Sylvia, and Joe “Daddy” Stevenson vs Kurt Pellegrino.
Hopefully he gets matched up with someone more his talent level, I loved the Garcia fight but he was out matched as shit. Maybe Din Thomas or Tyson Griffin?

I would venture to say Tyson Griffin is one of the top Lightweights in the UFC, just caught a bad break against Edgar. Putting him against Roger wouldn't be to far of a strech, I'd still like to see Thomas test out Rogers ground game though.
