An MMA question....
Being just a "dumb ol' wrasslin' fan" I've a question for those MMA fans amongst us.
Am I right in thinking all MMA matches are one on one "cage style" bouts?
If this is the case, could it ever be "mixed up" a little......now in wrestling we have tag matches, Survivor Series five on style bouts, bouts where the fighting goes all over the arena......
Could any of these be practical in MMA?
Is there an other match type that could be?
And so on!!

Cage is mostly just for select companys like UFC, KOTC,EXC, CR etc because its the In thing to do lately and its marketable. You'll find that Companys such as PRIDE,K1,Bodog fight etc will use rings and often times that will lead to more of a stand up fight since you cant push your oppent against the cage.
As far as Tag matchs in MMA goes...T.T, I believe thats illegal and for good reason.

lol I believe it would be, MMA Is a One on One SPORT, however if you look hard enough you'll find some one night tournaments were some people fight back to back (Old PRIDE shows) thats about close as your gonna get.

Yeah the problem with adding more people is that it would be easier for the third person to just choke out one of the other guys who's fighting with the other one.
As for going into the stands, to many rabid fans would get involve.
I am down for a barbwire cage match. That would be sweet.
