*Rumor* NJSAC Working On Allowing Knees On The Ground?
Well, for those who don't know the NJSAC was a major force in the banning of Knees to the head while on the ground, now the rumor is going around that NJSAC is working on putting those same knees back in to play lately. Nothing has been confirmed outside of some "quotes" from Dana White that I havn't been able to find anywhere on the net.
Don't get your hopes up though, all this could mean is that New Jersey is reviewing it at this point. but if New Jersey does allow them, it could allow for other Atheltic Commisions to do the same. which in turn allows for Heath Herring to do his thing >__>

Re: *Rumor* NJSAC Working On Allowing Knees On The Ground?
From what Ive heard about the story surrounding the Knees on the ground being taken out. The head of NJSAC saw a fight from some show and they offended him so he removed them from the rules. Basicly your regular guy who was a "boxing" guy and not a MMA Guy. Thats were alot of the states get there tight rules from, no one understood MMA all that well. had MMA been more strict with its rules from the get go they may be abit more laxed now. The whole no rules, no gloves, no weight class period from the start of UFC gave the sport a bad rep in America.
