Diego Sanchez Off UFC 69

Reports are now surfacing that Diego Sanchez had to be removed from Saturday nights UFC 69 event because he failed to clear medicals. Loretta Hunt of The FightNetwork reported that Diego Sanchez was absent from the pre-fight press conference yesterday.
Noticeably absent was Diego Sanchez (17-0), who meets TUF 1 rival Josh Koscheck (8-1) in a rematch that will measure another welterweight contender. UFC president Dana White announced via satellite video (White was in Las Vegas for UFC Fight Night Live tonight – results ) that Sanchez was still completing his medicals and was unable to attend.

THANKFULLY, looks like the report is false. Diego showed up at the weigh-ins fine. And he was pissed. Gave a nice shove to Josh Koscheck during the stare down. Should be a great a fight. I’m thinking now that perhaps Koscheck started the rumor himself, and that is why Diego was so fired up at the weigh-ins??? Maybe??? I wouldn’t put it past him.

Diego did give a shove, and knocked himself on his ass in the process, looked like the fool he his. (Great fighter, but I can't stand the guy, either of them actually).
