Slagged off Frank shamrock. Said he’ll bring Phil Baroni to the UFC if he beats Frank. He clearly hates Frank. Called him a ‘knucklehead’ and poured scorn on his DQ with Gracie (Although he said he didn’t see it). He said he’s like to see someone from the UFC to kick his head of but it wont happen because he wont be allowed in the UFC.
Said Vera is ‘losing his mind’ but UFC are still negotiating with him.
Said Chuck will fight one more person and Rampage will do also, before they meet.
Chucks next opponent. Said he didn’t want to throw Jardine in there just yet. He says he’s working on a fight for Chuck (seemed to imply someone new!!!)
Said a Chuck v Wandy fight is still VERY feasible. Says this is the fight he’s worked on the longest out of any fight and said ‘im on it’ and said ‘it’s a fucking sin the ifs the fans don’t see this’
Chuck said he’d move up to HW for CC. Said CC couldn’t cut to 205 from what he has been told. [more like CC isnt interested]
Said CC fights winner of Tim v Randy. He also said he was 'workig on it' when asked about CC's non-appearance at the conferences. Also he sounded a bit annoyed at how CC landed in the day of the weigh-in having never fought or trained in the Octagon before and left straight after.
He avoided the question about acquiring Werdum interestingly enough. He should go into politics
Rashad v Jardine. Played it down and said that the PC confrontation was more of a lighthearted exchange. He did however go on to add that any fighter would fight the other if the money is right.
Heath Herring – up to Heath how he springs back. Gave him credit for trying to finish O’Brien even when he was losing.
Matt Lindland – he said he’s already talked to Matt about a return so that’s all good!
Didnt hide his disappointment with Lutter. Said he had 6 months notice so bascially he screwed up. Didnt answer the direct question of 'will he be back in the UFC?' though.
Tito v Forest at UFC 70? Dana said there’s lots of fights out there for Tito. He mentions Jardine and Rashad. He didn’t give any clear indication if Forest v Tito 2 is for happening.
Boxing match with Tito is now April 24th. He said March 24th then backtracked. Hmmm, that’s BS imo – Tito is scheduled for UFC 70 as Dana knows full well. Its doubtful they’ll fight in April, if ever!!
He said they’re going to Ireland too!!!
On Mir he said it 'was up to Frank' where he goes from here. Didn't sound too sure on this one..
And Silva vs Marquardt is next for the MW Title as we thought
Says he has talked to Kurt Angle, they had a meeting and Kurt said he was interested, then he ran off and signed with TNA. Said he can't blur the lines, would have to decide what he is – wrestler or MMA artist. Basically, forget him now.
He also said, he’d be interested in PRIDE and if they acquired them they’d run them as a separate entity.
Says right now MMA is at its best and ‘enjoy it while we can’ because the ‘boxing creeps’ are slowing going to seep into the market and try spoil it which would stop us from getting the best matches like we’re getting now."
Hrrrrm, interesting interview what i find most interesting is the fact that Dana said tito vs forrest might not happen. at UFC 70. Who else is there for those guys to face? Maybe Bisping vs Forrest (if Bisping isnt actully confirmed to face elvis) but who else is there for Tito? -shrugs- also good to know hed keep PRIDE as is over in japan

I'm supried by The Lindland comment, does that mean a return is in the works or they talked and it won't happen so he doesn't have to think about it anymore?
