Brief History

Believe it or not Rich used to be a math teacher in Ohio before bursting on the MMA Scene in 2000. Since then has worked on almost every hole in his game that he can possibly think of by earning a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under TUF 2 noteable Jorge Gurgel and hiring some of the best to help him craft some of the best stand up in the UFC. Since lossing his Middleweight title to Anderson Silva under questionable conditions (many rumors say that Franklin was ill at the time of the fight but Franklin has never commented only saying Silva "was the better fighter that night") hes looking to build his way back up to a rematch.
