Kurt Angle appeared on WOCM in Ocean City, MD this morning for five minutes. During the interview, Angle said he has been clean from pain pills for about two years now and said he made more money for WWE than any wrestler over the past six years.
Angle then went onto say that he likes TNA more than WWE because it's more of a wrestling show than a circus act. In what was the most interesting comment during the interview, Angle stated that he is going to start soon with the EliteXC (Elite Xtreme Combat) MMA group and that he will be doing both wrestling and MMA. Seeing as Angle has been known to say some pretty outlandish comments in the media in the last few months, we have no confirmation that he is actually going to work for EliteXC at this time.
When will angle clue in that hes TO GOD DAMN OLD for MMA? had he switched over when he was joining the WWF at the time, he would have been alot better off. Now his bodys broken down and hes at the age where most MMA fighters are retiring or getting ownd (im looking at you Tank Abott)
However in other news, After a year of training Brock Lesnar is said to be debuting in K1 at there may show. Brock has the youth and potention lets just hope he dosnt half ass this like so many other things hes done.

This is what me and other fans of Kurt don't want (and why we wanted him to slow down, maybe take a schedule like Undertaker has). Angle will just keep pushing himself and doing stuff unless he ends up being crippled.
Honestly, I hope Lesnar get merked out there, as for Angle, more than likley he will get owned but think of how sweet it would be if he just monstered people.
TNA has some great talent, they just need more story. They got the wrestling down, now they need more cool feuds. I can't wait till they get a two-hr block.
Yeah...lesnar definatly has more potential than angle. the 2 of them in an MMA bout would probably sell as much if not more than Chuck-Tito 2, if it happened with the right promotion. Angle just turned 38...which definatly beyond his prime, but if he started out against some lower tier fighters...i think he could stand a chance. IMO...with the right training, Lesnar could be the future of the MMA heavyweights. Think about it...Lesnar 2-3 years from now vs Fedor?
I think Lesnar could be great as well, but will need to wait more then 2-3 years to come close to Fedor. With Fedor you need to try and wait until his robotic parts start top fail, then challenge him. But that probably won't happen for a good 7 years, because Russians built Solid Robots.
Honestly though, I'm stoked to see Lesner, and hope Angle stays out of the ring. I dig the cat but if he were to simply get caught in a guilloteen it could be real bad news and the end of both careers.
