Brief History
BJ Penn must be one of the only people to leave UFC while a champion. After beating Matt Hughes in early 2004, BJ toke a fight outside of the UFC and was stripped of the title...not to mention fired. Since his return to the UFC hes suffered two losses but not without a fight. lossing a close decision to Current Welterweight Champion and winning Two rounds agaisnt then Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes before suffering a rib injury which led to his defeat. Now a coach on TUF 5 he looks to take back his loss agaisnt Jens Pulver.
