Trifecta Entertainment recently sold “UFC Wired,” a syndicated UFC show that will feature highlights from past UFC events, to the Fox Television Stations group, according to a recent report at TelevisionWeek.Trifecta was retained by the UFC to shop the show, which will be hosted by UFC commentator Joe Rogan. According to Chris Pursell, the story’s author:
The syndicated show, which Trifecta is offering on an all-barter advertising basis (meaning no cash license fee), features fighters of the Ultimate Fighting Championship in action. With the Fox deal, the show is scheduled to air this fall in nine of the 10 markets where Fox has station duopolies.
In the television industry, a duopoly refers to a single company owning two outlets in the same city.
Additionally:
The deal includes clearance in New York and Los Angeles, the two biggest cities in the country. Whether the show will air on the Fox-affiliated stations or the other station Fox owns in each market will be determined case-by-case.
Frankly, I’m not exactly sure what this means, other than UFC Wired likely airing on major TV networks in major U.S. cities. And that can only be a good thing.
Regardless, TelevisionWeek is supposed to have a longer, more detailed story on Monday. Sit tight until then.

ahhh yes, finally UFC is starting to get attention from Mainstream network, first a deal with HBO now a deal with FOX. Combine that with the Fight cards they have coming up and you have a nice year set up for UFC and MMA.

Lol, I find Spike TV more mainstream than Fox, but I know it's not. I just like Spike better. This is a good thing for sure.

Basicly HBO is gonna broadcast 3-4 cards per year for UFC, Im not sure if there gonna be in the same fashion of PPV or Fight night but Lenox Luis (might be spelled wrong) is rumored to have the role of Joe Rogan or Mike Goldberg.
Rumor has it that HBO dosnt even want a Deal with UFC because it fucks with there boxing legacy -sigh-

I hear announcers complain about boxing during a boxing match saying how they hate to see a guy take a long beating like they do. So they are just being hypocrites by trying to knock the MMA, because it is a lot safer than boxing.
